But he cannot just end up his love like a "dream". Shouting out love! His love has just begun.Crowd-pleasing romantic comedy 200 Pounds Beauty has certainly been one of the surprise box office hits of the year. Pulling in over five million admiss! ions, it has become one of the top ten grossing films of all time and the highest grossing romantic comedy ever. Directed by Kim Yong Hwa, the lighthearted and bitingly funny film revolves around a topic all too familiar in South Korea: plastic surgery. 200 Pounds Beauty made an overnight star out of lead Kim Ah Jung (When Romance Meets Destiny). The actress charmed both male and female moviergoers alike with her sassy, yet vulnerable performance as a young woman who becomes a singer after undergoing full body plastic surgery. Ju Jin Mo (Musa) stars as her producer and the handsome object of her affections. Bolstered by the popularity of the film, the soundtrack has also become a huge hit, particularly Kim Ah Jung's catchy rendition of Maria (Track 3). The most attention may have fallen on Maria, but the soundtrack contains plenty of other great songs and popular artists. Kim Ah Jung herself also sings Beautiful Girl, which comes as a solo version (Track 1) and a second version (Track 9) with And and Alex Chu of Clazziquai. Alex offers the solo track Dance with My Daddy (Track 5) as well. In keeping with the movie's theme, the soundtrack features popular rock band Loveholic's "Superstar" (Track 4) and female singer Youme's "Star" (Track 2). Other artists on the soundtrack include Kim Hyung Joong, Venny, and U.Hallelujah! Poster (27 x 40 Inches - 69cm x 102cm) (1998) reproduction poster print

With the multicultural debate so high on the news agenda, "Brideless in Wembley" is a highly topical revelation of the mosaic of life in post-immigration Britain. Sanjay Suri's wanderings through Indian England began while looking for a wife at a marriage mela in Wembley, and his investigation of the lives of diverse communities takes us to: a London college which sells student visas, and the world of illegal immigrants in Southall; the nine nights of dancing in October, when halls are hired for separate castes, partly paid for by the taxpayer; and, 'Multicultural' Leicester, where Indians are driven to live in ghettos by racists. Fascinating, engaging and told with wry humour, these stories show vignettes of everyday life that few suspect can be true in Britain today. Relevant to everyone living in the UK, this import! ant book makes you re-examine our society and the concept of integration.

Tell Me On A Sunday by Denise Van Outen

This product is manufactured on demand using CD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply.

This 2003 cast recording is an update of a song cycle by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Don Black. First produced in London in 1982 as half of an evening titled Song and Dance, Tell Me on a Sunday is pretty much a one-woman show and a vehicle for a versatile singer with strong acting skills (Bernadette Peters won a Tony for it in 1985). This time, Denise Van Outen, a Chicago alum, takes on the role of the young British woman who goes to New York in order to get over a broken heart. Overall, this is one of Sir L! loyd Webber's most rocking scores, even if too often the results sound like the work of someone desperately trying to sound au courant. "Haven in the Sky," for instance, is a quasi-dance track with a trip-hop beat. When the heroine goes to L.A., the tone turns to folk-rock ("Capped Teeth and Caesar Salad"), but the composer is defeated by Black's clunky lyrics. Kudos to Van Outen for infusing perky charm into even the tritest moments. --Elisabeth VincentelliWhen Denise found out she was expecting Betsy, she went straight out and bought a wide range of titles, from celebrity mumoir to practical guides to eating and exercising properly. But all of these books were missing something - the element of fun! BUMPALICIOUS is much more than just a pregnancy diary - as well as Denise's own personal experiences, you'll also find helpful hints and tips, non-judgemental advice, nutritional and technical advice from food and fitness experts and, above all, a book that encou! rages you to relax and ENJOY the excitement of pregnancy and t! he first few months of being a new mum.
